Our little corner of Woodville

A family farm raising friendly goats in the hills of north Alabama.

We're a family, and this is our farm

In 2023 we brought home our first goats, and it didn't take long for them to become the heart of the place. We're a small hobby farm raising Nigerian Dwarf and Mini LaMancha goats, with the goal to raise healthy, happy, friendly goats. Our goats make great show goats, breeding stock, backyard milkers, and, most of all, beloved pets.

Every goat grows up right underfoot: handled, talked to, and thoroughly spoiled every day. They thrive on good nutrition, fresh air, and plenty of attention, so by the time one is ready for a new home it's already friendly and well-socialized, and knows that people mean good things. Every one of them is a cherished member of the family.

Keeping a healthy, clean herd matters to us. Every goat stays current on its CD&T vaccine, hoof trimming, and deworming, and we run a closed herd.

Our does and bucks are registered with the American Dairy Goat Association (ADGA). Nigerian Dwarves are a miniature dairy breed — small, easy to handle, and a wonderful fit for small homesteads and first-time owners, with sweet, rich milk that carries the highest butterfat of any dairy goat. Our Mini LaManchas are also registered — either F6 or purebred — and they're fantastic milkers, beautiful and sweet, with those unmistakable little ears. Read more about Nigerian Dwarf goats and Mini LaManchas on their own pages.

The goats have plenty of company, too. We keep chickens and ducks, and more cats than we can rightly count, all part of the daily bustle around the barn. It makes for a full, happy, slightly noisy little corner of Alabama.

The best way to pick a goat is to come sit in the pasture and let one pick you. Visits are by appointment — drop us a line and come see the farm for yourself.
